Sheriff Fields and wife Renee enjoy time with their four grandchildren and time with friends and family. Sheriff Fields is an active member of the Moore County Republican Men's Club and was a past Precinct Chair of the Carthage Republican Party.

He has dedicated his adult life to public service. Sheriff Fields started out as a volunteer with the Carthage Rescue Squad from 1976 to 1987. He proudly served as a Deputy with the Moore County Sheriff's Office from 1983 to 1987.

Ronnie Fields is originally from Carthage, North Carolina. He volunteered with the Carthage Rescue Squad. He is married to Renee and has four grandchildren.

Sheriff Fields is a sheriff that works tirelessly for our citizens in the attempt to decrease criminal activity and eliminate illegal drugs in Moore County. He works with citizens to educate on drug awareness, promote community watch programs, and places heavy emphasis on community policing in an effort to involve and include all of Moore County Citizens.
