When Kurt Cook was assigned to Special Forces training at Ft. Bragg, he knew North Carolina would be his home forever. He is a combat proven commander from the Army Special Forces Green Beret, and a small business owner, husband to a veteran, and a proud father.

Kurt J. Cook attended Fishburne Military School and participated in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps at Towson University. He lives in Aberdeen, North Carolina. 

Unfortunately, he was medically retired as a Major in the Special Forces while serving in Iraq, previously serving multiple combat tours in Afghanistan, and supporting activities in South America. He retired and moved to Mooresville, NC where he worked for Hendrick Motorsports (HMS) as a team member on the #9 car. The small town living of Aberdeen drew him back to Moore County where he belongs.

Kurt is a small business owner. He previously worked for Hendrick Motorsports and served as a major in U.S. Army Special Forces.
