“I’m very familiar with the efforts Dr. (Christine) Fitch has done on the board,” Glenn said. “I decided I was going to file for the seat in order to be the voice for the people of this district.”

Glenn, a lifelong resident of Wilson, said that she wants to join the school board in order to “be the voice of the average parent.”

“I’m very familiar with the efforts Dr. (Christine) Fitch has done on the board,” Glenn said. “I decided I was going to file for the seat in order to be the voice for the people of this district.” Glenn, who works at Alliance One, said she’s put all of her kids through Wilson County Schools.

“I want to continue what she’s started and what she’s done,” Glenn said, referring to Fitch. “I think I can help.”

Lauranita Glenn is a lifelong resident of Wilson. She has children who attended Wilson County Schools.
