Monroe residents should feel empowered to reach out to their leaders when they aren't sure how to get a speed bump installed in their neighborhood, when they see a new development being built, or want to know how to find out when the next Music on Main event is happening. Every constituent concern deserves a real and timely response. Decisions made by this council should be publicly explained, not just announced. Residents deserve to know not just what was decided, but why.

I'm running unaffiliated because I answer to Monroe residents, not party interests. Monroe is growing fast. That growth should make life better for the people who built this city, not price them out of it. I'll fight to make sure longtime residents, seniors on fixed incomes, and working families can afford to stay in Monroe.

Whether you can afford a large new home or an apartment on the edge of town, you should still receive the same level of services, safety, and opportunity as anyone else. My goal is to make sure that as Monroe grows, existing residents aren’t pushed aside and new residents aren’t set up in communities that lack the resources necessary to achieve the quality of life they’ve worked for.
