Conrad Blackburn is originally from Florida. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from the University of South Florida and a law degree from the George Washington University School of Law. 

Conrad is a public defender and a labor organizer. He previously worked as a criminal defense attorney and did a year of immigration work, including deportation defense. He also has experience doing policy work, lobbying, and legislating. He took an unpaid summer internship with the Florida Attorney General's Office while studying for the bar exam. 

Conrad is an attorney and policy advisor for Bronx Defenders.

Conrad is a public defender and trade unionist with the United Auto Workers (UAW). He previously served as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2010 to 2012.
