Sarah Provancher is from Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her bachelor's degree in music and business from Rollins College and attending the Mitchell Hamline School of Law for her law degree. She volunteers with the Jefferson County Republican Party.

Sarah has previously worked as the president of Pro Communications Public Relations, the director of marketing and community relations at the Rockford Public Library, a marketing campaign manager at GoRockford, the director of theatre services at the Coronado Theatre, the administrative director at the Friends of the Coronado Theatre, an administrative assistant at the Rockford Area Arts Council, and an operations assistant at the New York Chamber Symphony.

Sarah previously ran the Kentucky House of Representatives, District 31, in 2016 and Metro Council in 2012, but did not win.
