Timothy Schroader studied automotive engineering at Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College. He lives with his wife, Suanne, in Smiths Grove, Kentucky. 

Timothy previously worked as a senior landscaper at Cross Winds Gold Course, a senior facilities supervisor at Preston S Miller Park, and a deputy jailer at the Warren County Regional Jail. He served as a staff sergeant and instructor in the U.S. Army for 20 years and he also served as a member of the Kentucky National Guard. 

Timothy is currently a city commissioner for the City of Smiths Grove. He was elected in 2022.
