Applauds $1.4 million in funding for road and utility infrastructure to remove barriers to economic development.

The Versailles Road and Utility Infrastructure Project will enhance public safety, improve transportation efficiency, and create the foundation necessary for private investment. Local leaders have identified the project as a top priority due to its direct impact on economic development and community vitality.

“This funding is a significant win for the City of Versailles and Woodford County as it extends Paddock Drive across US 60 by creating turn lanes and road infrastructure at the former Edgewood Farm property,” said Versailles Mayor Laura Dake. “I want to thank Congressman Barr for his tireless advocacy in securing this $1.4 million through the Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Appropriations bill.
