Hello, I’m Charles Schaffer (Charlie)

Candidate for Beechwood Village City Council

Professionally, Charlie focuses on providing financial expertise to entrepreneurs and boards. He currently serves as Controller at a Louisville-based family office, where he oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple operating companies, including one of the region’s largest car wash chains. 2026 Kentucky General Election

Charlie is running for City Council to give back to the community and to ensure Beechwood Village is governed responsibly, spends taxpayer dollars wisely, and remains a welcoming, well-run place to live. If elected, Charlie would lead on transparency — starting with timely, publicly posted Council minutes so residents can easily follow the city’s business; bring a CPA’s discipline to a clear, accountable budget that treats every taxpayer dollar with care; and prioritize neighborhood safety on the city’s residential streets.
