Donald Druitt is originally Buffalo, New York. He has a bachelor's degree in business and management from the University of Maryland College Park and a master's certificate in management from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management. He lives with his wife, Karen, in Lizella, Georgia.

Donald's campaign for board member is his first run for public office.

Donald currently works as the director of Macon-Bibb County Georgia. He previously worked as the director of the National Emergency Operations Center at Hazard Management Cayman Islands, an emergency manager with the City of Miami Beach and the City of Fort Lauderdale, and the deputy coordinator of the City of Newport News. Donald is a veteran of the U.S. Military where he served in the special weapons program.
