Emanuel Davie Jones attended West Fulton High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and his master's degree in business administration from Columbia University. Emanuel lives in Georgia and has three children. He attends Shiloh Baptist Church where he is a deacon.

Emanuel currently works as the founder and chief executive officer of Legacy Automotive Group. He previously worked as a product engineer for International Business Machines (IBM) and held leadership roles with Ford Automotive Minority Dealers Operations. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
