Tracell Peace-Nichols earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Augusta State University (now Augusta University), two master's degrees in criminal justice and international relations, and a law degree. She is married, has five children, and lives in Augusta, Georgia.

Tracell owns the Peace-Nichols Law Office, LLC.
