Alice Benton is from Georgia. She has a bachelor 27s degree from Vanderbilt University and a law degree from the University of Georgia. She is involved with St. Philip's Cathedral, Junior League of Atlanta Inc., NCL, and other charitable activities.

Alice is a judge on the Fulton County Superior Court bench. She previously worked as a senior assistant district attorney in Fulton County and a civil attorney in private practice, where she led her own firm specializing in family law. 

Alice is currently a judge on the Fulton County Superior Court. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Brian P. Kemp in December 2023 and officially took office in January 2024.
