Lisa J Anderson earned a bachelor's degree in advertising from Penn State University and a master's degree in adult education from the University of Georgia. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lisa's campaign for the Georgia State Senate is her first run for public office.

Lisa currently works as a district general agent for Colonial Life, an insurance company; she previously worked there as an agency development manager. She also worked as a senior manager of product management and a product marketing manager for Verizon, and an associate director of customer operations and vendor management and an associate director of learning and development for Verizon Business.
