Christopher Bell Erwin resides in Banks County with his wife, Laurie, and they have two adult children, Christopher and Courtney. He is a graduate of University of Georgia, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1985. In 1989, he obtained his Master’s degree from Georgia State and completed his Specialist Degree at West Georgia in 1995. He is a member of the Homer United Methodist Church where he has served as lay leader for his congregation.

Christopher worked as an administrator in Carroll and Henry counties before serving as the Superintendent of the Banks County School System for 11 years. Following his career in public schools, he became the Director of Risk Management Services for the Georgia School Boards Association and later the Director of Business Development for Carroll Daniel Construction Company.

Christopher is a State Representative representing Georgia’s 32nd House District. He was first elected to the House during the 2018 election cycle and officially assumed office in 2019.
