Christian Michael Hurd received his bachelor's degree in Ecology from the University of Georgia and his associate's degree in Iranian/Persian languages, literatures, and linguistics from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. He lives with his wife, Bailee, and their child. 

Christian has worked as a case investigator for the Georgia Department of Health, a field canvasser for David Purdue for US Senate, and a freight handler for FedEx. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for five years.
