Will Fleenor graduated in 2001 from LSU with a B.A. in Political Science and Cultural Anthropology. He earned his J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.

Will has worked with the Athens Solicitor’s Office since 2010, spending five years as the VAWA-funded domestic violence prosecutor, two years as a DUI prosecutor, and six years as the Chief Assistant Solicitor. Since 2017, he has represented the office in three treatment courts--Veterans’ Court, Mental Health Court (TAC), and misdemeanor DUI/Drug Court. Prior to his time with the Solicitor’s Office, he spent a year as a staff attorney for a Superior Court Judge and two years as an Assistant Public Defender in Macon, Georgia.
