Polk County Board of Commissioners Biography

Linda Liles was born on MacDill Air Force Base in Florida and later moved to Polk County in 1998. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mercer University. She is a member of the Calvary Assemblies of God church. 

Linda Liles wins Polk County Commission runoff Tuesday (2020)

Linda currently serves as a commissioner for Polk County, District 2 in Georgia. She initially entered office by appointment and later won a run-off election and further re-election to continue serving in the role. 

Linda currently works in constituent services at the federal level and has over two decades of experience in government service. She has worked for Congressman Phil Gingrey and Congressman Tom Graves and also owns a local farm.
