J.C. Henderson is originally from Covington, Georgia. He earned his associate's degree from DeKalb Community College and is continuing his education at the University of Georgia Carl Vinson Institute of Government. He lives with his wife, Sandy, and their eight children in Covington, and attends Rising Son Christian Church, where J.C. serves as chairman of the deacon board.
