Dr. LaDena Bolton is from DeKalb County, Georgia. She has a bachelor 27s degree in chemistry from Savannah State University and a PhD from Clark Atlanta University. She is married to a DeKalb educator and they have three school-aged boys together.

LaDena Bolton lives in Decatur, Georgia. She earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Savannah State University and her Doctor of Philosophy from Clark Atlanta University. She volunteer with the DeKalb Young Democrats Benefit Corporation and is a co-founder of Bolton Legacy. She lives wit her husband, Clement, and their three children. 

Ladena is an analytical forensic chemist.

LaDena Currently works as an innovation management consultant. She previously worked with the DeKalb Democrats Steering Committee, as a beverage forensic chemist at The Coca-Cola Company, on the Women for Warnock Advisory Council, as a forensic examiner with the U.S. Department of Defense and Inflow, as a postdoctoral fellow at Emory University, a visiting professor at Chamberlain College of Nursing, and an energy fellow at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. 

LaDena is currently a DeKalb County Commissioner representing Super District 7.
