DeMont Davis earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Prairie View A&M University and a master's degree in computer science and artificial intelligence from Clark Atlanta University. He lives with his wife, Laura, and their four children.

DeMont currently serves as a member of the Clayton County Commission for District 4 in Georgia. He was first elected in 2018 and is serving his second term.

DeMont currently works as a technology enterprise consultant. He previously worked in software development, data architecture, and business consulting for organizations including Delta Air Lines, MCI, Blue Cross Blue Shield, the United States Army, Coca-Cola, Skechers, and IBM.
