Elijah Cooper earned an associate’s degree in architectural and mechanical drafting from Athens Technical College. He lives with his wife, Ashley, and their three children.

Elijah currently serves as a member of the Banks County Board of Education, Post 5 in Georgia. He was first elected in 2024 and is serving his first term.
