David's campaign for the Toombs County Commission is his first run for public office.

David currently works as an associate pastor, as well as a nuclear mechanic for Plant Hatch and an assistant chief for Toombs County Fire Services. He previously worked as a youth pastor, as well as for Beasley's Roofing and as a fire chief for Toombs County Fire Services.
