Bill McKenzie is originally from Newnan, Georgia. He graduated from Clayton State University and Columbus State University. 

Bill currently serves as the Coweta County Commissioner for District 2. He was elected in 2022 and is serving his first term.

Bill previously worked as warden of the Coweta County Corrections Division, chief deputy sheriff for the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, and chief of police for the Tyrone Police Department.
