Sheree G. Yazzie

Buket Urgen

My commitment to our district is both personal and deeply rooted. As my daughter enters PAMS and with family who are current students or proud graduates of PUSD#4, I have witnessed firsthand the remarkable progress our district has made.

And I believe that with thoughtful leadership and strong community partnership, our elementary and middle schools can reach the same high standards our high school has achieved. As both a parent and a lifelong community member- and as a proud product of PUSD myself- I understand the importance of preparing our children for the future.

My name is Sheree Yazzie, and I am honored to introduce myself as a candidate for the School Board of Pinon Unified School District #4. As a way of Navajo greeting/introduction, I am born into the Salt People clan, born for the Tangle People, my maternal grandfather's clan is the Towering House People, and my paternal grandfather's clan is the Rock Gap People. In this way, I am Dine.

Sheree G. Yazzie is Diné and a lifelong member of the Pinon Unified School District community. She attended schools in the Pinon Unified School District. She is a parent, and her daughter is entering PAMS.

There are several key reasons I am seeking a seat on the School Board. • Shaping Student Success: I am dedicated to setting clear educational standards, approving strong curricula, and establishing goals that promote academic achievement and student well‑being.

If elected, I will work to strengthen the future of education in Pinon. I’d advocate for our students and ensure that funds are managed responsibly, and in ways that directly support learning. I am committed to making PUSD#4 a district where families feel confident and excited to support their children.
