Danielle is originally from the Bronx. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the City College of New York, a master’s degree in elementary education from Mercy College, and a professional certificate in school administration from the College of Saint Rose. She lives in the Bronx with her child and volunteers with The Unity Democratic Club and the James Baldwin Outdoor Learning Center.

Danielle currently works as a teacher with the New York City Department of Education. She previously served as an assistant principal, literacy coach, behavioral therapist, and adjunct professor.

Eric Dinowitz is a lifelong resident of the Northwest Bronx. He and his wife, Tamar, have two sons.

Eric previously worked as a special education teacher for twelve years and was a chapter leader in the United Federation of Teachers. He also served as chair of the Aging Committee on Community Board 8 and as a Democratic District Leader.

Eric Dinowitz currently serves as a member of the New York City Council representing the Northwest Bronx. He was first elected in 2021 and is in his first term. He chairs the Committee on Higher Education and the Jewish Caucus and serves as co-chair of the Bronx Delegation.
