Amy Bridges – Cleveland County NC Water

Amy Elliott Bridges is from Polkville, North Carolina. She has a Bachelor of Science in agricultural mechanization and business from Clemson University. She has been married to her husband Kevin since 1989 and they have two grown children.

Amy is the Downtown Community Development Manager at the Town of Forest City, where she has worked since 2014. She previously worked at Foothills Regional Commission from 2010 to 2014, Cleveland County Schools from 2007 to 2009, and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources and Conservation Services from 1989 to 2006.

Amy is currently a member of the Cleveland County Water Board of Commissioners. She has served on the board since December 2009.
