Topsail Beach Board of Commissioners votes in new mayor

Frank is currently the mayor of Topsail Beach. He was appointed in March 2025 and will serve until the next election in November 2025. Before becoming mayor, he served as a town commissioner from 2018 to 2025.

- The mayor attends and runs City Council meetings, serving as an important leader for how local laws get set. These laws affect local services, such as Police, City Planning, Parks & Recreation, and Transportation.  
- The Mayor in some circumstances may vote to break a tie in council meetings. They do not have veto power.
