She is chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee in Jamestown and has served as co-chair of The Coltrane Project, chairperson of the High Point Preservation Society, and board member of the Washington Street Historical Preservation Society. She was also a member of the High Point 2045 Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee and is a former president of the High Point Fine Art Guild. She lives in Jamestown, North Carolina.
