Kelly W. Heath has been a resident of Asheboro since 2006. She is a current board member for Lydia's Place and the Randolph Asheboro YMCA. She is a member of First Evangelical and Reformed Church of Christ. She is married to her husband, Sam.

Kelly is a retired professional. She worked at Randolph Community College from 2010 to 2023. For 10 years, she was the Special Assistant to the President for Events and Projects. Before that, she served as a Grant Writer/Event Coordinator in Institutional Advancement and as the Director of Occupational Extension in Workforce Development and Continuing Education. She also worked as the Director of Marketing and Development for the Randolph Partnership for Children in Asheboro from 2006 to 2009.

Kelly is currently a member of the Asheboro City Council. She was elected in 2021 and is completing her first term.
