Kirk Rivers is from Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He has a bachelor's degree from Elizabeth City State University, an associate's degree from Fayetteville Technical Community College, and a high school diploma from Northeastern High School. He lives with his wife, Nina Griffin Rivers, and their two sons.
