Tanillya Wilkerson Partridge earned an associate degree in nursing from Vance-Granville Community College, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Winston-Salem State University, and a master’s degree in family nurse practice from Winston-Salem State University. She later completed a postgraduate degree in psychiatric mental health nurse practice at Liberty University. She resides in Roxboro, North Carolina.

Tanillya currently works as a family nurse practitioner with Across the Lifespan, providing primary care, mental health, substance abuse, and addiction medicine services. She is also the administrator and owner of The Partridge House, an adult care home in Roxboro.

Tanillya's campaign for Roxboro City Council Member is her first entry into politics.
