Tony earned a bachelor's degree from McKendree University and a law degree from Saint Louis University. He lives in Mozley Park with his wife and their two children. Tony also serves on the board of Ethos Classical, a public charter school in southwest Atlanta.

Tony currently works as the Senior Director of State Government Affairs for Gilead Sciences.
