David Dickinson is married to Rita Dickinson. They have three daughters and six grandchildren. David attends Grace Monroe Church.

David F. Dickinson earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Guilford College, a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Georgia, and a juris doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He and his wife, Rita, have three daughters and six grandchildren. They are members of Grace Monroe Church. He has lived in Monroe for 40 years.

David is currently a council representative for Super District 8. He was elected in 2017 and is currently serving his first term. He previously served as the Mayor of Monroe from 1998 to 2002.
