Mark Douglas Staley

Mark Staley is currently a council member for the City of Carlton. He was appointed to the council in 2021 and is serving his second term. He is also the Mayor Pro Tem.

Mark Staley graduated from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in history. He has lived in Georgia since 2003 and has also lived in Hall and Barrow counties before moving to Madison.

Mark retired from Procter and Gamble in 2011, after almost 24 years of service. He worked at P and G as a technician, and he also held roles in finance and accounting, and in purchasing as a sourcing buyer.
