Lee Castro has a bachelor's degree in business administration. He lives with his wife, Denise, and their three children in Adairsville. He is a worship leader at NorthPointe Church.

Lee is an information technology manager at Denise Castro CPA and Associates, which he co-founded with his wife. He previously worked as a network architect and information systems manager at Shaw Industries, Dixie Yarns, and The Weather Channel. 

Lee is currently a member of the Adairsville City Council, representing Post 3. He was first elected in 2015 and is currently serving his third term.

Supports managing and reconstructing the old and poorly managed water and sewer system.

Supports the construction of a new City Hall.

Supports the transfer of ownership of subdivision streets to the City of Allen.

Supports the construction of a new Boys and Girls Club.
