- Georgia Military College (GMC) is a public military college in Milledgeville, Georgia. It is state-funded, but not affiliated with the University System of Georgia or the Technical College System of Georgia. 
- The GMC Board of Trustees supervises how the school is run, including providing advice on the future of the school and approving changes to the bylaws. 
- Board of Trustees Members are elected every four years in nonpartisan elections. Each board member represents a different local city council district.
