John H. Bucy III is a small business owner and currently represents House District 136 in the Texas Legislature. He previously served as the Legislative Liaison for the Texas Democratic County Chairs Association.

John H. Bucy III has been serving as the State Representative for Texas House District 136 since 2018. He is a member of the House Committee on Elections, the House Committee on Higher Education, and the Select Committee on Health Care Reform. He has also served on the House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism, House Committee on Transportation, and the Constitutional Rights and Remedies Committee.
