Dennis Paul is a lifelong area resident and small business owner. He and his wife of 33 years, Eliza, are the proud parents of Elizabeth, who has completed her Masters of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas. Dennis received a Bachelors and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston.

Dennis Paul is currently serving in his third term in the Texas Legislature. He established his own small business in January of 2002. He served on the Structural Engineers Association of Texas State Board of Directors from 2004 to 2014.
