Chrissy earned her bachelor's degree in engineering from Stanford and a master's degree in technology and policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She lives with her husband, Bart, and their 2 daughters in Devon, Pennsylvania. 

Chrissy previously served as the chief operating officer of AND1 Basketball and as president and COO/CFO for Springboard Collaborative. She also worked as a chemistry teacher in North Philadelphia and was a Teach for America Corps member. She served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force for 3 active years and 13 years in the reserve.
