Amy earned her bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Penn State University and earned her master's degree in healthcare leadership from St. Vincent College. 

Amy is the President of the Cambria Regional Chamber. She previously worked as a television news anchor and reporter for WJAC and as Director of Marketing Communications for Conemaugh Health System. Amy has also taught as an adjunct instructor at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and Saint Francis University.
