Brian was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from PennWest California. He is married to his wife, Caitlyn. They have 3 children. 

Brian has worked as the chief of staff to Representative George Dunbar. He also served as a borough councilman in Irwin Borough.
