Tim Barhorst currently serves as a state representative in State House District 85. He was elected to this position in 2022 and is serving his 1st term. He ran for state representative in State House District 19 in 2018, but he did not win. He previously served as the legislative chairperson for the Ohio Association of Health and Underwriters and as the media relations chairperson of the National Association of Health Underwriters Midwest Region.

Tim is the founder and president of an employee benefit and financial planning group, Business Partners, Inc. He also also owns and operates Behm’s Restaurant.

Tim is from Fort Loramie, where he still lives today. He attended The Ohio State University. He holds a degree in business from Edison State College and a bachelor's degree in business marketing from Wright State University. Tim has 1 son. He is a member of Saint Michael’s Church in Fort Loramie.
