Bernard "Bernie" Willis currently serves as a state representative in State House District 74. He was elected to this position in 2022 and is serving his 1st term.

Bernie works as an adjunct professor in unmanned aviation with Sinclair Community College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He has served as a reserve in the US Air Force for over 30 years. He previously served as a colonel for the Springfield Air National Guard base for 16 years, where he also worked as a military pilot and a federal law enforcement officer.

Bernie is from Springfield, Ohio. He holds an associate degree from the Marion Military Institute, a bachelor's degree from the United States Air Force Academy, and a graduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is married to his wife, Lynne, with whom he has 3 children. He is a Christian. He is an elder at Fellowship Christian Church.
