Brian Lorenz is a state representative in State House District 60. He was appointed to this position in 2023. He also serves as chairperson of the House Economic & Workforce Development Committee. He previously served as a member of the Powell City Council. He was named to this position in 2010 and served for 6 full terms. He also served as mayor and vice-mayor of the City of Powell for 1 year each.

Brian currently works as a senior director of planning and permitting at WD Partners. He previously worked as a planning and development officer for Grove City, Ohio.

Brian earned a bachelor's degree in geography and urban planning from The University of Toledo and a master’s degree in regional planning from Ohio State University. He currently lives in Delaware County. He is married to his wife, Sue, with whom he has 4 children. He is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
