Wendi is from Oregon. She attended Lourdes University, where she studied psychology. She lives in Ottawa Hills, Ohio, with her husband, John. They have four children and two grandchildren.

Wendi is the owner and president of Starbound Talent. She previously worked as director of marketing and syndication for the Continental Capital Corporation and as an account executive at Electronic Imaging.

Wendi Hendricks previously ran for state representative for District 43 in 2022 but did not win.
