Jason is from Pickerington, Ohio. He attended the University of Virginia (UVA), where he studied economics and political philosophy.  He also earned his law degree from the University of Virgina. He and his wife Courtney live in New Albany with their 3 children.

Jason is currently involved with Fairwood Brands. He previously worked as an economist in the U.S. Department of Commerce under President George W. Bush. He later joined McKinsey & Company and later founded his own investment firm.
