Mike currently lives in Green Township with his wife Leslie. They have three children together. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. 

Mike has been an educator at St. Xavier High School for 29 years. He has also served as an advisor to the Principal and President, Assistant Principal for Juniors and Seniors, Dean of Discipline, Faculty Association Officer, Freshmen Head Football Coach, and Mock Trial Moderator. Additionally, he is a licensed attorney and currently serves as the President of the Green Township Republican Club.
