Sean earned his bachelor's degree in international studies from University of Dayton and his master's degree in secondary school administration from Cleveland State University. He lives with his wife, Deena, in Parma and they have 2 children. 

Sean previously worked as a teacher for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights School District.

Sean Patrick Brennan currently serves as State Representative in Ohio State House District 14. He was first elected in 2023 and is serving his first term. He previously served as a council member for the Parma City Council from 2011 to 2022.
