Frederick graduated from the FBI National Academy. He received an associate's degree in criminal justice/law enforcement from Terra State Community College, a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/police science from Tiffin University, and a master's degree in criminal justice/law enforcement adminsitration from Tiffin University.


Frederick was the Chief Of Police for the Tiffin Police Department and an adjunct Professor at Tiffin University. He worked as a police officer, police detective, police sergeant, and police lieutenant for the Tiffin Police Department. He served in the U.S. Army.
